Ela estava a alguns centímetros da janela, sentada em sua poltrona favorita, cabeça baixa, semblante desapontado, braços caindo quase tocando o chão. 

Chão que refletia sua tristeza de tão límpido que estava, e apesar de estar próxima à janela tudo que ela conseguia ver era seu reflexo inquietante, ouvia o piano lhe dizer que tudo aquilo era triste, sombrio, cinzento e solitário, incomodava tanto quanto uma agulha que costura a visão dos loucos, e dos sonsos hilários que só sabem fazer rir do sofrimento, incomodava tanto quanto sua alma que neste momento era muda e vazia como aquela janela, onde as cortinas tentavam esconder o outro lado da vista, dos olhos de quem dorme e sonha em acordar um dia com os dentes a mostra não de raiva ou dor, mas de felicidade.
